Like midnight freight, Railroad Spike is a dark steel blue with sparks of burgundy* in saturation.
*While it’s possible to find sheen in the Railroad Spike when saturated on slightly hydrophobic papers like Tomoe River or Midori MD, this property may require a wet pen and broad nib to achieve in writing.
Part of the Keystone Formula fountain pen ink line, Railroad Spikeis built with traditional dye-colorants. Our ink color is produced with a cotton swab on Tomoe River paper.
